Area Showjumping Success! - Date posted 25/06/2018

On Saturday we had a lovely day in the Sunshine at Addington Manor with our Teams competing in the Area Showjumping Competitions. There were the usual dramas on the run up to the day and even on the day itself but the end result was a group of members who rode well, did the branch proud and smiled all day.
Our Novice Team was down to 3 and a special mention must go to Hannah Hickson on Dancer who jumped a lovely clear on Coco in the second round over a course that caught must competitors out.
Our 2 Intermediate Teams did well over very twisty courses with Maddie McTeague and Katie Pope being 2 of only 8 competitors to achieve double clears and the best bit of news was that our team of Emily Martin, Jessica Pope, Maddie McTeague and Phoebe Anderson came 3rd qualifying for the National Pony Club Championships.
Isabella Tasker was our sole representative in the Open class, rode very stylishly and is definitely one to watch for the future.
The day ran very smoothly thanks to our very efficient Team Managers Hilary Martin and Serena Hickson.
